it's the year of the pig, dammit.. not boar, pig! i see posts and things about it being the year of the boar. why boar? the pig is way cooler.
it's been a pretty nice and relaxing weekend so far, given the craziness of the week i've had. yesterday, we had a pleasant brunch at the parkhouse eatery, then took the pups to balboa dog park. then, lots of reading and just hanging out around the house.
i finished reading 'the lovely bones'. i have to say, it's probably the best book i've read this year. reading 'middlesex' right now. starting off a little slow but not too bad so far.
i napped on and off all yesterday and slept in late today. such a luxury. we also watched 'little miss sunshine' on on-demand. it was OK. cute, mildly tragic but nothing to write home about.
today, we went to coronado dog beach. it was henry's first time at the beach. so cute. he doesn't quite get the playing with other dogs bit yet but is definitely lots braver than abby for sure.
nadine and i caught a matinee of 'babel' today. it was very hard to watch. definitely one of the best movies i've seen this year. but i haven't seen alot so i may be skewed :)
ok.. gonna go focus on watching "heroes" on DVR right now. :D
